Ellie & Ben's Church Ceremony & South Farm Wedding


Ellie and Ben's beautiful wedding day began with relaxed morning preparations at home before a heartfelt church ceremony surrounded by family and friends. Their celebration continued at South Farm, one of our favourite countryside wedding venues near Bedfordshire. As Bedfordshire wedding photographers, we always love returning to South Farm for its beautiful gardens, charming buildings and incredible opportunities for natural, documentary-style wedding photography.


Ellie wore a stunning gown from Lotte Rose Bridal, paired with a colourful embroidered veil and a vibrant bouquet that perfectly reflected the joyful feel of the day. After a short walk to their local church, they exchanged vows in a ceremony filled with heartfelt singing, happy tears and plenty of smiles. Following the big "I do", guests enjoyed tea, cake, warm embraces and an unforgettable confetti exit before everyone made their way to South Farm to continue the celebrations.


Back at South Farm, we explored the beautiful grounds together for some relaxed couple portraits, giving Ellie and Ben a quiet moment to soak in that wonderful just-married feeling. South Farm is one of our favourite venues because it offers so many picturesque locations, from its gardens and rustic barns to the peaceful countryside surroundings, allowing us to create natural, timeless wedding photographs throughout the day.


The speeches brought both laughter and tears before one of the highlights of the afternoon — photographing Ellie and Ben with South Farm's famous resident pigs! As the evening guests arrived and the sun began to set, the atmosphere shifted into celebration mode. Ellie changed into her Lucy & Yak dungarees ready to dance the night away, and the dance floor quickly filled with family and friends celebrating together.


From beginning to end, Ellie and Ben's wedding was bursting with colour, connection and genuine emotion. It perfectly reflects the relaxed, storytelling approach we love as a husband-and-wife wedding photography team, capturing every meaningful moment naturally while allowing couples to enjoy every second of their day.
